Attending our first Federation of Awarding Bodies Conference earlier this month was a thought-provoking and insightful experience.

Our Experience

The event reinforced the importance of optimism, collaboration, and trust in driving positive change, alongside exploring the evolving policy landscape across the UK.

We were also delighted to meet FAB’s new Chief Executive, Rob Nitsch, and hear his inspiring vision for the organisation. Our team appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the impactful work of various Awarding Bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Housing, Chartered Institute of Export and Trade, Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals, and many others.

The event facilitated meaningful dialogue on key topics such as the integration of innovative technologies and the future direction of the sector.

“It was an event inspired and motivated for the future of the sector.”

Maintain Support

Participants have access to a Text Reader which is designed to assist users with visual impairments, reading disabilities, or those who prefer auditory learning. It converts written content into spoken words, enabling users to listen to the text instead of reading it on screen. Operating the tool is straightforward for test takers: they can easily highlight the desired text and simply press play to have the text read aloud through their speakers or headphones.

We are continually evaluating and developing our services, web products, and solutions to improve against accessibility and design standards and best practices.

We are undergoing a WACAG Audit and will publish our accessibility statement once available. We are accessibility accredited by the Ministry of Education for our work in universities in the Middle East.
